LPEF Teacher Mini-Grant Application 2024-25

The Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation Teacher Mini-Grant Program provides competitive grants to teachers in the Lynwood Unified School District (LUSD) to enrich and enhance learning environments by supporting innovative curriculum and instructional practices.  

Eligibility

LUSD classroom teachers are eligible to apply for one grant per school year. LUSD teachers who have received a teacher mini-grant must wait a year before reapplying.

Awarded Amounts and Guidelines 

Award amounts will be a maximum of $500 with approximately 40 grants awarded. The grants must directly benefit students, relate to the curriculum and enhance student academic experiences. Grant funds may be used to purchase enrichment supplies, instructional materials, and limited technology hardware and electronic devices.

Notification and Payment

LUSD teachers will be notified regarding funding decisions by November 22, 2024. Funds will be provided at the LPEF Teacher & School Grants Reception. Save the date for the LPEF Teacher & School Grants Award Reception on December 5, 2024 at 4:00 pm, LUSD Boardroom. 

Reporting 

Grant recipients must submit a digital picture with a testimonial by June 6, 2025. 

MINI-GRANT CONDITIONS 

1. Approval of this proposed project is solely for the purpose of awarding a mini-grant. The sponsors shall in no way be liable for injuries or damages arising from the performance of this proposed project. 

2. All mini-grant money is to stay in Lynwood Unified School District. In the event that a grantee leaves Lynwood Unified School District the monies will revert back to the Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation.

3. A relocating teacher may take the mini-grant money/project to a new school as long as the new school is in the Lynwood Unified School District.

Please note that the application must be completed in one sitting, as progress cannot be saved. Be prepared to fill it out in full!
